Testimonies

  • “Not aware that the house was located directly behind a strip club, and across the street from the party area. Music blaring until after 330 am. House needs serious repairs and upgrades. Master bathroom wouldnt flush properly. Shower in hall wouldn't work properly. Tiles loose on sinks, in shower. Paint was chipping. Place looked like it had been empty/abandoned for sometime. Beds were uncomfortable. Linens looked like they needed to be washed and could definitely be replaced! The house didnt have a broom or mop! TV didnt work. House had a foul odor to it, had to go out and buy candles and air freshener. Would not recommend this to anyone at any price. A little money invested into this property would make the location seem more bare-able.

  • “I should have known what we were in for when the office gave me directions including "turn at the strip club". Not a great neighborhood, to say the least. Obviously, there's a reason they don't put the condo address on their website.
They also didn't warn me about the home alarm system - and we experienced about 5 minutes of ear-piercing noise for me to find the code notation on the bottom of the information sheet they gave me at the office. 30 minutes later, a maintenance man showed up - on the beach-side - asking if we needed help with the alarm. Um, it's off and you're a bit scary.
The photo of the beach patio is fairly accurate, but.... the condo inside was not well-kept. Leaky faucets, dingy/dirty floors, sinks, showers, toilets. There was no curtain on the window facing the beach (where folks walk by all times of day and night), so we had to hang a sheet. It was sort of like camping. Their ads said TV and there was one - but no cable (and no VCR/DVD player either, so what good was the TV?). When we made the trip over to the office to ask about the TV, they informed me that there shouldn't have been a TV in the condo since there was no cable service. The wi-fi DID work, however.
Checkout instructions were a bit over the edge for receiving your deposit refund, including "you must sweep, close all curtains, drapes, doors, windows, clean this and that well, our cleaners do NOT wash dishes, our cleaners do NOT take out trash, .....". Not that we were at all messy, but we would have left the place much cleaner than we found it if we had followed all of the instructions.
Overall, not impressed. We should have paid the extra $40-50/night to stay in the more modern, well-kept, Sandy Beach resort area. Next time.

  • “My family has stayed at various different condos like this one along the beach in Puerto Peñasco, so my review is partially in comparison to other similar places. It was as expected, a great little place right on the beach. It is nice when they have garages like this one, although it looked like this one had been broken into in the past. There was an alarm system, although we never figured out how to use it (we arrived after hours, and the printed instructions didn't quite explain clearly enough). It is located closer to the town than I have ever stayed before, and I probably will try to avoid staying this close again. Beacuse of closures, it was mostly quiet, but is right in the thick of the club zone. We could hear live music from Manny's on the beach. Inside the ac blocks most noise out. Sunday evening the beach was quite crowded with locals. This little group of condos, unlike others, has a little retaining wall on the beach which is just tall enough to annoyingly block your direct view of where the water hits the beach from the back door. Other than that, everything was great! It was clean and freashly painted, but bring a broom if you are staying for more than one night!
