The Hacienda del Mar villa in Puerto Peñasco has seven hacienda-style guest accommodations, which can sleep between two and fourteen people depending on the room selected. Each room has a unique name and theme, which begins with the hand-painted ceramic "name-tile" mounted by the door. Whichever room you choose, you will be just steps away from the Sea of Cortez - one of the most picturesque spots in all of Mexico. Covered walkways and shaded patios offer guests abundant opportunities to take in the view while enjoying the privacy offered by the B&B.
Puerto Peñasco (aka "Rocky Point") is merely a relaxing four hour drive from both Phoenix and Tucson or a bit longer from Southern California via Interstate routes 8 or 10. Check out our map page for detailed driving instructions.
Hacienda Del Mar is located inside the beautiful gated community of Las Conchas - the oldest government approved subdivision in Mexico. This premier development consists of several thousand, mostly undeveloped, acres and includes several miles of pristine Sea of Cortez beachfront.
The Rooms of Hacienda Del Mar
Each guest room features a private bath with an authentic Mexican-tiled bathtub and plush pillow top queen-sized mattresses for a restful night's sleep. Many of the rooms have cozy fireplaces, and ceilings on the upper level feature breathtaking brick domes created by locally-renowned artisan from Guadalajara.
A full breakfast featuring traditional Mexican cuisine or various specialty dishes is served upstairs in the main house at 9 a.m. Breakfast is a wonderful opportunity to socialize with the B&B's other guests and share your stories from the previous day - we hope you'll join us!
The Hacienda del Mar at Rocky Point is a non-smoking resort, however, ashtrays are provided throughout the grounds for your convenience.
